1. Service description

Rent Easy (“we,” “us,” or “the Service”) provides tools to organize self-reported renter information and to generate informational profile summaries and plain-language guidance based solely on what you enter. The Service is not a background check, credit report, tenant screening system, or consumer report under applicable laws. We do not verify your information against external databases, landlords, credit bureaus, or government systems.

2. No affiliation

We are not affiliated with landlords, property managers, credit bureaus, consumer reporting agencies, or government entities. Your use of the Service does not create any relationship between those parties and us.

3. Accuracy and limitations

Outputs depend entirely on user-provided inputs. We do not warrant accuracy beyond what you submit. Profile scores and suggestions are general guidance only and are not guarantees of rental approval or eligibility.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide truthful information to the best of your knowledge when using the Service.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to misrepresent identity, to harass others, or to attempt to obtain information about third parties without their consent. You may not scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems.

6. Accounts and security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Fees and payment processing

Paid features and one-time prices are shown at checkout before you pay. Taxes may apply where required by law. By purchasing, you authorize us and our third-party payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the selected plan according to the checkout terms and the processor’s rules.

Card and payment data are collected and processed by an industry-standard payment processor that complies with applicable card-industry security requirements (PCI-DSS). We do not store your full payment card number on our servers. If a charge fails, we may retry or suspend access until payment succeeds, as described at checkout or in your account.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
